I have always said that my heart is in Bandon, Oregon. While visiting Bandon last week with my family, I left a big piece of my heart there. My dad suddenly passed away early in the morning on the 4th of July. We are still in shock and processing the loss of a husband, dad, and papa. My dad has always been a larger than life person. He had the biggest heart. He knew no strangers. He loved to tell stories. Dad loved to joke around and be silly. He was the hardest worker I’ve ever known. Dad loved his family more than anything and we loved him fiercely. There really aren’t the right words to say. I already miss his hugs, his laughter, the free flowing conversation, and the perpetual feeling of safety and home I always felt with him. This is all I can manage today. I will post details about his memorial service very soon.

Hello friends and family! We will be holding two remembrances for my dad. They will look very different. Please feel free to come to either or both events. The family would love to hear YOUR stories about dad. If you could private message my brother or me with your memorable stories, we would love to put them together in a book to share at either remembrance and for our family to cherish. TIME: 12:00 PM-4:00 PM
WHERE: Backside Brewing 1640 NE Odell Avenue Roseburg, Oregon
*This is a no host event.

We have rented the warehouse space so there will be room mingle, tell stories and share laughter and maybe a few tears. As many of you know, we already held a traditional memorial service for my dad. Many of dad’s friends wanted to have a time that we could exchange stories, reminisce, and laugh about old times with classmates, truck driving buddies, and lifelong friends. I finally have a date, time, and location!!!

Please join us! Message me or call me if you have questions!!!
